How to Apply for a Grant from The Angel of Kindness Foundation



Father Joseph L. Tagg, III lived his calling as a Catholic priest in the Diocese of Memphis, but his true work in God was much more.


Father Tagg believed in helping the poor and the disadvantaged of Memphis through kindness and spontaneous generosity. He loved raising what he called "Cold Cash" and distributing the funds to those he saw in need. 


The Angel of Kindness Foundation is currently accepting applications for grants for those in immediate need due to loss of resources such as a home, clothes, possessions, or other needs. Each application is reviewed on a case by case basis. Grants are rewarded in March, June, September, and December. 


​Grants rewarded are typically $500-$1,000, but are subject to change or adjustment by the Angel of Kindness Board.


Grants will only be given to non-profit 501c3 organizations.


To apply for a grant, please submit a letter clearly stating your need and the reason for your request. Include your name, address, 501c3 affiliation, and contact information.
